  1. Other programmes on the market didn’t provide the necessary tools to coach executives and leaders

I already trained as a coach 2 years ago, but it was more generic. While the programme did a great job in covering the basic methods of coaching like active enquiry, I found that something was missing to really help me launch myself as an executive coach. There simply wasn’t enough focus on tools and techniques to help me coach clients at an executive level. It became frustrating when dealing with senior leaders who are looking for more than someone who knows how to ask the right questions. These clients need efficient and pragmatic ways to find solutions.

‘This is why I looked for a more thorough training with specific focus on executive coaching and the added bonus of putting you on the path to ICF certification by the end of the training.’

2. The 3-day bootcamp gave me a great foundation for success

I have no regret in choosing Executive Coaching Bootcamp as I found that even the 3-day bootcamp by itself already gives the right ’scaffolding’ to be able to coach senior leaders. It covers the coaching process, behavioural and perceptual coaching, the assessments, and major topics that we encounter with clients.

Since completing the bootcamp, I don’t feel lost in front of a client and I know exactly where to start, how to build a structured engagement to really answer my client’s needs. Furthermore, the course is punctuated by practical exercises, so we were immediately immersed into coaching practice and we received feedback on the spot to nail the skills covered during the course. By the end of the 3 days, I already feel much more confident compared to how I felt after the generic coaching training I received. Now I’ve got the tools in hands, the process, and the practice.

3. The resources cover a breadth of knowledge and are easy to navigate

The training comes with a tremendous number of resources organised in a way you can easily navigate through them and find the topic you’re covering with your client. The sequence of questions to ask and the tools associated with it supports you through all the most common coaching situations. In my previous training, I was left to my own devices to design my own coaching blueprint, without having the necessarily knowledge to do so in the first place. The bootcamp really helped to save time and put me on the right path.

It also opened my eyes to the way I presented my approach to coaching. Thanks to the bootcamp, I was able to practice how to package my coaching offer to make it more structured and much more appealing.

In a nutshell, I found that this was a great coach training programme, and it really filled the gap when coming from a generic coaching training. I would highly recommend it!
